Ethics of Exploitation

In our ever-changing modern world, ethics has always been a hot-button issue. The main dilemma we face today is the allocation of magical resources across states and countries. In this course we will explore the budgeting of natural magical resources through an immersive seminar-style discussion. Topics include who should decide where magical resources are dispersed, what, if any, resources should be readily available to the public, and the magical cannibals that threaten our society. We will also address the lasting impact magicians leave for future generations, and thus prompt reflection on how we can all do a better job of conservation.

“Ethics of Exploitation was the most engaging class I’ve taken at Bigglebottom, and Professor Ross did a great job of leading the discussions!”
