The Annual Bigglebottom’s Cookoff!
A time-honored tradition since the establishment of the Culinary Arts Department, the annual Bigglebottom’s Cookoff is an intense battle of culinary skill open to all majors. Participants face off in a tournament-style bracket that starts in February and finishes in April, testing their abilities against those of their peers in innovative culinary challenges. Excellent taste is the baseline; dishes are also assessed on magical properties, presentation, and creativity. The Cookoff is judged by an impartial, rotating panel of guest gourmets to ensure a fair competition. Prizes for past winners have included a tour of Fort Bigglebottom, access to rare ingredients, substantial monetary rewards, and—of course—the prestige that accompanies the title of Cookoff Champion!
